This is a 2 or 4-hour American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course. The 4-hour course in intended for those who have not previously been BLS certified by AHA or those who have an expired card. The 2-hour refresher course is for those with current BLS for Healthcare Provider cards issued by the American Heart Association.

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
